sharpening, exposure utilizing luminosity masks to select various parts of the image. Color correction and composition.

2 and 7 be cool though

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

#1 gave me a headache; limit photos to stone cold keepers for critiques.
Use "inp" instead of "jpg" to show the image rather than thumbnail.
Most shots benefit from being squared off; be very very selective about when you decide not to.

Awesome thanks for the advice. Can I ask what you mean by "exposure utilizing luminosity masks"?

So why does #1 give you a headache? Thanks for the info on uploading and the framing suggestions

typically you have to work on a color corrected monitor that is also corrected for luminosity. You can then see how to manipulate the highlights and shadows from there utilizing the histogram. Another point here is when you shoot get as much of the scene inside the histogram on your camera this will save you a boat load of post processing later on. Fuck HDR learn how to bracket and blend so you know what is actually going on.

set your gray point in raw that is a good start then tweak the color from there.

ctrl, alt 3 on a pc invert then delete three times and use curves to bring in the darker areas it is usually seamless

Exactly. Dialing in the contrast curve is the quickest and best way to edit jpegs.
I start with no color and add saturation at the end.
Shoot in raw mode whenever possible for critical shots... yeah, fuck HDRs.
You need to color calibrate and for this you need something like a Spyder. Doing it by eye fails every time.
Once all the calibration is done you can bring a color chart (location test shot) to be sure the WB is spot on.
Calibration, color temp, etc and using it correctly has a steep learning curve... start reading.

I also use a spyder and NEC Multisync monitor so you can adjust the native white point and also correct photos in a decently lit environment not in the dark they will push the histogram to the left doing it that way!!

Yeah just did my Dell e6400, it's LED backlite but rather limited for photo editing. It was a handful, but got it as good as it gets. Much better than I could do by eye or with its default color profile.
