Hey guys, I've seen the name RailGuy88 mentioned quite a few times. I was wondering who he was? I know he was banned, but why is he so prominent? Or is this a taboo sort of question and I should just wait until I hopefully get FM eventually to check the banlogs? I'll take down this thread if it's a question I shouldn't be asking.

RG88 was a thief, a liar, and an overall horrible person to explore with because when shit hit the fan and security or cops came your way he would be the first to run and leave you with the blame.
He also allegedly trashed a bldg with some of his friends who are still members of this forum.

I think he was finally done in when pictures were posted showing him selling stolen hospital equipment out of a van. Prior to that he kept a tight grip on the regional UER community, online and off, and made a lot of enemies.
Also, apparently at a meetup they went to Steve Jobs' house (an abandonment) and while lighting tea lights around a fancy abandoned organ, he accidentally set it on fire. And while the others were trying to put it out, all he could do was repeatedly moan "Why me?" Which would be comical if the organ weren't still valuable.
Oh yeah, it also turned out he was a hardcore Christian who hated gays, or at least used words that made it appear so.

...Are those guided missiles? I know he was a thief, but please tell me he wasn't so stupid as to try to steal and sell heavy arms from abandoned military facilities.

I've never stolen anything but a "new coke" can during my exploration, but honestly, I don't know if I could resist if I found guided missiles haha

The other day on instagram one of the folks I follow posted a story that talked about some urbexer that started a fire and it was posted on youtube. I have been terribly curious about it. Is this the guy they were talking about?

Quite honestly I never even heard of the guy. But Ive only been around here 12 years.
What makes you feel he is "so prominent"? I had to go back and look at his history but it appears he was just a petty criminal.

Wow. We don't need any members keeping a tight grip or exercising self appointed control over other members or this community.
I would have banned him for that alone had I known about it. And, Id like to have seen some online wack-a-doodle scrap salesman come to Texas and try to keep a tight grip on folks around here.
