Frozen Over Bloede's Dam

In case you haven't heard, they are going to be removing Bloede's Dam around September 6th. I wanted to get a few photos of it before it was gone forever. It's nothing too special, still cool walk through though.

I love the look ice makes when running water freezes.

I was lucky the water froze didn't have to get a pair rubber boots.

I had to make my own entrance.

Where the water used to be sent through when it was still generating power.

I thought it looked cool close up.

Those are some good looking pics, makes me want to go take pictures of one of the Gastonia, NC dams.
