So I was left to my own devices for a couple of days, so I did the only responsible thing I could do. Drive around and take pictures, with a little light trespassing. I figured it was the best way to keep myself out of trouble. I picked up around the area that I left off on a while back when it rained on me all day long. Today it held off till I was already half way home, so today worked out much better. I did not get to go inside many spots, but still had a good time driving around. Just shy of 600 miles on the car, but got a surplus of pics, and came across a few new places that I will have to revisit. Onward with the picgasam. First place I visited is an interesting area, a town square that is chock full of antique cars and decor. It is actually a venue that is rented out for weddings and such. Has a few guest houses on the site, one of them being the original town jail. Went there before and there was an event going on, yesterday I had the place to myself. Not real adventurous seeing how it is all set up and staged, but for just taking pics, I think it is a great spot. I am thinking it would actually be a neat place for a photography club or group to have a weekend away. Here are a few shots from there. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr There was in fact a genuine abandoned house across the street, I went inside and it really felt to me that there was someone living there. Weird vibe man, weird vibe. So I stepped right out without taking any pics inside. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Down the road we go. Nest stop finds us at an old schoolhouse. Typical layout with classrooms in the corners, central hallway. The bathrooms were separate from the classroom building, an obvious add on. Alas the doors were padlocked and solid. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr There were some really nice trees around the area too. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr This one even had an abaondoned dupliex under it. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Around the corner, 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr And down the block. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr There is another school house in another little town that I have been hoping to get into for a while now. Checked on it today and the doors are still solidly locked, and one even had a new padlock on it. But there were a couple of busted window panes. This is a really small school, I am surprised it has an auditorium inside. Check that curtain, with a painting of a curtain. I really want in here. (None of the towns listed are the town this place is in go figure) 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Seating for less than 200. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr And something I've never seen, the room behind has chalkboards that raise up into the wall to provide extra seating perhaps? 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Down the road again. A little house that I had visited before but did not go into because stinging things. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr This, obviously a kids room, besides the two bsds there were bunk beds behind me. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr From what must have been the dining area looking towards the front room. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Another bedroom, there were three total. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Front room. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr In the garage, I was surprised to see this. I bet it would still run with just a little work. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Let's see, what else, I came across this old gas station/bar/restaurant. Doors were all padlocked though. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr But there was one glass block broken out. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Next door. Check out those heavy cold storage doors. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr And behind. 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Another town, more old stuffs. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Meh, I just liked the curtain flapping in the wind. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr One of our members mentioned this place before, the roof is currently collapsed. Was it like that when he visited? 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr
Next! A freaking hospital that I would love to get in, but all the doors I found were welded shut. Seriously, come on! 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Let me in! 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr
And now for random houses and such. 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-26-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr 12-25-17 by Road Extx, on Flickr Note the wire run along the top of the fence? Wow! I love the theater curtain - it seems to be in fairly good shape too.

Very impressed, but I recommend you get in the habit of numbering your pictures. I'm disturbed by the subtle asymmetry of this image. That is either sloppy work, or evidence of sloppy work.

Right? I've never seen anything like it, and especially in that good shape. I so want to get in there.

lol I used to name them all different names. I have gotten lazy with the naming. But I will do my best to number them. I have been studying the pic, I do not think I was perfectly centered up. I'll go back soon and try to do better. And I might chop down that tree.
