Exploring a couple breweries, it was a great day. Excuse the cell phone quality, I didn't have an SD card at the time for my DSLR. I'm looking forward to sharing more of what I've been exploring in the last six months. I was locked out of my account (password issue lol) so I had a huge issue getting back in. But here I am! Let me know if you want to go explore in the PDX area! https://imgur.com/a/cDXDA

Duuuude, I remember this place. We visited in the summer though. Cool place, I wish they had more machinery still.

The newer parts are, and have been [unsuccessfully] had a few attempts at sales over the past half dozen years. The north was the most active part in terms of work crews last time i visited.

Wow! You're so lucky you got to see the old buildings. I found this spot accidentally in January this year on my way home during a road trip. Wend back via Greyhound during spring break, and spent the day again with a couple friends. The entire site is incredible, but it was definitely under a bit of surveillance. In fact, we were never able to get to the old buildings. The brick one on the north side of the road looked boring now, honestly, because of construction. It was missing the entire back wall. The newer side (brewery and bottling plant) were amazing though. The bottling plant was intense; it was pretty clear workers had just left, and there was electricity. The basement was the spookiest part of the whole thing. Some squatters had somehow gotten a hospital bed frame down there! These are some of my photos from explores. I did just read there was a fire there at the office building in October though, unfortunately. 1.

Both locations are not under more surveillance, except for cops if you’re going to make an ass of yourself there.

I can't believe this place is still even around; I was there 10 years or so ago with some of you long-timers, and I thought that would have torn it all down by now. Good to see some of you got more of a taste than we did!
"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!" |
