Happens a lot. I knew people who did this in the 1970's.

Here's one from 2011.



One from 2007 didn't end well. They say he bounced off a wall, so he was likely riding on the side.

Hey, what's the worst that could happen?
Of coarse no one pulls the emergency stop... just more worthless thugs and such.

Subway door surfing never even crossed my mind until this thread.
Down south they do similar stupid shit but it involves pickup trucks and pump jacks.



Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I've heard a few times of dudes on the tops of the cars getting their heads mutilated by low metal beams. On my local subway, they like to pop the motorman's booth lock, stick their heads out the side window and get it lopped off.
