This is up near Shasta. The real estate agent just happened to be showing the property and allowed me to walk around it. Sorry I dont have time correct sideways pics.

I've always mused that much of UE photography is just a weird subset of real-estate/architectural photography.

Went on a recent trip up to Mt. Shasta a couple of weeks ago and can confirm this place is still abandoned. Caught my eye as I was driving to a nearby creek to hike.
I just want to explore places my own family and friends wouldn't. | |
i will be taking a road trip up to mt shasta and mt lassen soon, i'll have to check this place out!

thanks @whoknowsmarz for the help with finding this location. it definitely looks much different from the pictures posted in 2017, but i still find the location to be so beautiful with all the trees and mountains in the background. in a certain direction, you can see mt. shasta as well. as for the location itself, it's almost all boarded up unlike how it was in the past photos, but luckily there were a few good POEs. there were a few open doors and windows which allowed access to pretty much all the rooms on that particular side of the building, since the walls in between the rooms are broken. the restaurant was a bit more difficult to get into, but i was able to find an air conditioning vent to squeeze through.
this was my view from the ac vent the restaurant dining area the cash register drinks machine food storage and some other interiors of the inside of the restaurant.

Pretty cool spot, looks like maybe a failed motel with a restaurant? Not really a tourist trap anymore except for people like us!
