Abandoned Hotel

This was one of my bigger locations I have went to, These photos do not show how big this place truly is. Even after spending a good two and a half hours there, I still missed so much, I am planning to go back soon actually! This place was the creepiest so far, The whole place to me from the start had a disturbing feel.

I got in from the ground floor, while navigating though the darkness I came across a stairwell that I was hesitant to climb, with a horrifying mask placed on the handrails. It was all downhill from there. The hallways on the following floors just kept stretching and I kept expecting someone to step out one of the doors at the end. And not to mention every so often the wind would blow open a loose door and slam it abruptly on any of the following floors.

I had so much fun trying to look in every corner of this location, It was truly amazing. I also found a way up to the roof and got some well needed air and sat up there for a little. I also found in my investigation that the ground floors seemed to be shops, the basement was tempting to go in, but its current state was too collapsed and piping seemed to be everywhere.

As a small disclaimer, I understand that these photos are not the best. I do not own a camera, just my phone. And while only working one job, school starting up soon and having to pay for so many things, As much as I would want one, I will not be getting a camera anytime soon with the budget I currently have. But even at this point I still would love to share my shitty photos with you guys

6. (Secret little garden, which was located on the top floor)

9. (found these guys everywhere, they were all numbered 1-20, it made a fun little game finding them while exploring)

10. (found this at the end of a very dark hallway...creepy, but has a deeper meaning)

I think my favorite picture has to be #8. It really captures how long the hallways continue on, almost endless. Great photos! This looks like a place I'd love to explore!

You did good; cell phones are acceptable provided you work within its limitations.
Wide interior shots are difficult.
#3 is my fav

I've had a 5D, a MK3 and L lenses; now all I have is my dumb phone and a 20D.
The biggest thing on any image is composure and squaring it off as most images should be.
Exposure is difficult on a smart phone but you can do alright.
Many peeps here with cams do far worse than you with images and you gave a good write up and presentation...
fast learners here are appreciated here.
Keep shooting

Hoof! I've been told those little guys in 5 & 9 are done by him.

Neat place! The tarp in 1 leads me to believe that there was work done at some point there.

They were pretty cool to find everywhere

Thanks! Maybe back in the day, the place is historic but getting to the point that it's beyond repair

I love finding little things like that. A mill I explored last year had watchman stations spread around it, like little easter eggs. Managed to find three out of at least twelve.
