Finally going to upload some of my content, in a small series of dumps. This first location is probably our most frequented location, Lindy Boggs. Probably been here 20 times in the past two years and I don't think we've seen it all. It's located in Mid-City New Orleans, and has a great view of the east side of the city at night.

It was founded the 1920's as Mercy Hospital, and it's journey from one name to the next lasted until Hurricane Katrina snuffed out the already troubled facility. This place has been abandoned for 12 years and still has plenty to been seen within.

Now who else has been here? I've narrowed my pictures down to what I believe are the best for general viewing pleasure. Now, I hope you enjoy what I've got here. I kind of cheaped out and used the flash uploader.

Beautiful location such a shame that the interior is trashed that bad.

Oh wow, awesome location! I've been to New Orleans a couple of times, and I bet you can find some awesome locations to explore there since they are still trying to rebuild from the storms. Nice pictures

Hey, I found it! Nice explore man, love the pics! I've done various location types, but hospitals/asylums are my favorite (there's an area of SC that's just STUPID with defunct hospitals). In pic 4, are those the morgue freezers?
Sad there's so much vandalism, but still looks like a great time...lots of equipment left (those stocked shelves and the slides look intriguing). I know this is an older post, but thanks for sharing, and for the recommend!

Thanks! New Orleans is filled with a ton of smaller, less desirable place. There's probably about 10 really good, interesting location and about a million corner stores left to rot. One would think that Katrina did Urbex a favor but, maybe not for too long. Even 2 years after landfall, I can say that New Orleans was pretty much completely back to normal, except with a few new dark spots. But, very few were anything worth exploring.

It is a morgue freezer! This place, despite the heavy damage, was a marvelous explore. This place is the best hospital for a hundred miles. Besides Charity. But i'm glad you found it! This place has been the host to countless cold nights. It got cleaned out like a year ago, but now looks only slightly less cool. There's still countless shots to be made, here!
