A friend and I hit this place yesterday. There wasn't much to see really aside from some broken glass cases and paper work. On the plus side, it was wide open! Getting to the lower level section was a bit tricky due to half the steps being gone or broken and the metal handrail being extremely loose, but I managed to boost my way down the few feet.

What a beautiful area that is... unfortunately, I always just saw it while driving thru on the main road & never stopped to explore/relax/enjoy, but probably close to 20 years since I last passed through, I still remember the emerald green hills (& that stupid 'Mystery Hill' tourist trap).

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. | |
Yes, we went to the 'Mystery Hill' office to get a flier and chat w/ the workers for a couple of minutes but didn't go in!

Arcades are the one thing I'd argue are better when they're not abandoned cool pics, seems like a fun place!

Thanks! It was also so easy to get in as the side front door is literally wide open.

Bit of friendly advice, but it's a rule that you NEVER, EVER, EEEEEVER post the entry details. Just don't do it, you run the risk of the property owner finding this thread, sealing it, and ruining the experience for the rest of us. Good pics though.

You're right, that was rather careless of me. Thanks for the reminder and I'll be more considerate in the future.

In reviewing youre posts I happened to notice this one. The admonition about revealing points of entry applies unless the site is sitting wide open and any passerby can see the wide open door. Your photos suggest a truck could be driven through this place so no harm no foul.
