Cool little thing to check out in Nelson. Hard to miss really. Pretty dangerous seeing as its over the water and falling apart. I've been told people do cliff jumping off it when the water is a little warmer. It's planned to be turned into a marina for the rich neighbourhood around there.

Still looking forward to a Nelson/Kootenays trip this summer but haven't received confirmation from the band. I love it out there, it's always an interesting experience driving through the very different landscape of the Okanagan and then gradually transitioning back into the sort of climate that I'm used to once you hit Greenwood, makes the Kootenays feel like a home away from home.
Now that I'm riding dual sport I might just head out there on the bike and spend a night in a cheap motel or just camp in the woods. I've booked off a few long weekends over the next couple of months, just gotta find a good window to disappear for a couple of days.
I'll try to give you a couple of weeks notice on a day if you're still down to grab a beer and go snoopin'.
