Found an extremely tucked away, old road with a wooden bridge crossing a man-made pond. There was an address on a rock wall with an old lamp hidden by foliage. Going further down a small but still impressive mansion sat. As we walked up a deer was running away so we knew it was quiet in the area. Many scattered about items still left behind, and LOTS of shattered glass. The garages were full of old furniture and a record player. Upon further research we found the latest owner bought it in 2008 and was planning to make apartments in the woods starting with this building. The plans were abandoned and the blueprints remain scattered on the second floor. There's a couple of cool shots, but mostly just pictures to document this awesome random find.

These kind of places are always cool to find. Tucked away, unnoticed, makes for a good, relaxed explored. Yes, that couch is green with envy it was pitched out in the yard. Nice shot! and thanks for the house tour. Must of been nice once.

Cool house! The back side, with all the windows has a very Mid Century Modern/Frank Lloyd Wright look to it.
