Any leads in West Virginia

On Tuesday I and my parents are going out to West Virgina to look at some houses for sale. We thought it be cool, if we had some time, to check out any abandoned towns or other buildings. We will be primarily in the Spencer area. Even if we do not have the time to do this; I will still upload the photos of the houses if I find them interesting. Thank you!

Wow life is weird! We were discussing why Pappa John's puts a pepper in the box with each pizza. I mentioned an article that I had read a couple of weeks back on Atlas Obscura about McDonalds Pizza. While waiting for a page to load on my computer I clicked here and read this! Rod Serling where are you lurking?

Oh if you're interested here is the answer to the Pappa John's question and the article I read on the McDonalds Pizza!

Ah the infamous Spencer McDonald Pizza!

I'm in Charleston message me if you need any help.

FYI, the Spencer Walmart is built on the site of the old Spencer State Hospital, WV's second Asylum for the Insane.

I just imagine them putting a burger into a cardboard box and smashing it into a pizza xD. But unless they got a dairy free version I can't eat it.

So after searching online I did not find any along the way we are driving. I may have very well just over looked them. If I take photos of anything interesting I will post it later on.

So the two houses we went to weren't interesting and the realtor didn't have the key to the second house. I did however, find this shack. Figured it would be pointless to make a new post for it. Sadly didn't have enough time to explore the area more.

Can I hijack this thread about things on the coast in Virginia? May be heading there fairly soon.

One day I got a good camera.
