The decayed town

It's been a while since I've posted as I've been pretty busy on explores. Here are a few spots I visited with MaineUrbex a week or two back. These are all from the same town area except the summer camp which is outside but close. I think the area is very representative of the collapse of interior rural Maine. Enjoy.

Abandoned Summer Camp
A Handy Entranceway

Art Room

Last Chance to Sign Up

Abandoned Artist Workshop
I've Got A Fever And The Only Prescription Is More Cowbell

Bottles

Creepy Curtains House
Creeper Curtains

Collapsing Slaughterhouse
Dark Slaughterhouse

Noose at a collapsing abattoir.

Skull at an abandoned slaughterhouse

Deserted Church
The Church Nave

Church Pulpit

Stained Glass Window

Abracadabra Candelabra

Prophecy Fulfilled

Thanks! There were a number of skulls, antlers, other bones, furs and other bits across a few small rooms.

Very nice! I like the stained glass! Hopefully some moron doesn't come along and shatter those beautiful windows.

I also really like the first three in your set as well. Nice Job!

Thank you! I remain amazed nobody has touched it, but it's in a very rural place. I'd been wanting to get inside for a while and luck was with us. The camp too was untouched.

Really interesting and unique place, don't see many camps like that still intact. Thanks for sharing!

Imagine coming back to this place, after attending as a kid. Jeez that would ruin my whole childhood.

The whole town is half abandoned. As we finished one spot, we would see another after driving a ways, until it got later in the day and we seemed to be accumulating some level of notice. The slaughterhouse had a bunch of skulls, skins and lots of fur and bones.
