Going through old photos on my phone and found some I took in Guatemala while backpacking last year. Years ago, the waters of the lake rose, flooding many houses and businesses close to the shore. Some are still flooded enough that you can kayak through the ground floor of the buildings. This house in particular became my little sanctuary where I could draw and paint in a quiet place.
