So, 2017 has been a roller coaster for me. After almost 5 years of being with my ex, I found out he was cheating and was on Grindr... Told him to get the fuck out of my house. As some of you may remember, he had a 2013 GTI, Wolfsburg edition, in Candy white. He wasn't a car guy and didn't appreciate the car. It was a mess inside, full of scratches, 2 dents, one wheel was badly curbed, cracked passenger side mirror. I was browsing Kijiji 2 weeks ago and found a 2013 GTI, Wolfsburg edition, in Candy white. One owner, 34 000 km, never winter driven, the condition of the car was absolutely stunning. Zero curb rash or scratches on the rims, interior was absolutely flawless. It was like literally like brand new. The guy who owned it before daily drove a 2003 Corolla, and was selling the GTI to make room for a brand new Audi RS3. A hardcore gear head. We talked about cars for like an hour when we met. It was beautiful, Unitronic Stage 1 tune for both the ECU and DSG transmission. Tint all around. Euro switch. Monster mats. We agreed on a price, shook hands, and I made a deposit later that day. So, after 10 years of driving my B7 A4 2.0T, it was time to say goodbye and pass her on to her new owner. A friend actually bought my old Audi.

Ugh, sorry to hear about the ex situation! Hopefully the rest of 2017 has some awesome surprises for you in store. But, congrats on the new car!! GTIs look quite nice in Candy White! Sounds like you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it. I recently had my 2003 JettaWagen TDI unexpectedly blow its transmission on me at 563,000km. So I went out and bought the exact same car...just silver and 5spd. The black one is currently sitting in a barn because I have no idea what to do with it, I'm not ready to part with the car I've owned for 8 years, and been driving for 13.

congratulations on kicking a lying douchenozzle out your house, but getting a new car as well.

Looks cool. Congrats! Any modification plans for your new car?
