interesting place, looks like a nice spot to stroll through on a lazy day. <3

Softly creeping through
Empty hallways decades old,
glimpsing history.

Link PM'd...some album titles have location names in them so don't want to break any rules

It's HUGE and in a U shape. Different parts of it closed at different times so it's really like a dozen locations in one with different layouts, degree of development (some spots had routers and CAT5 cable run), and decay. One part had a 2009 calendar on a cabinet and a bunch of 2012 calendars stacked up in an office, but other parts had obviously been abandoned for decades. Finding info online is hard so don't know much about it...except that a crazy guy lives/lived in the porn room and has chased people in the past.

And thanks tombombadom....too dumb to figure out how to quote multiple people in the same entry.

EDIT: Uploading additional pictures realized the 2012 catalog was actually a stack of calendars. Fixed post for accuracy.

A few more just to give a better idea of how crazy this place was. Really not trying to "claim credit" for the place, but rather trying to share my wonder of the place that I had visited before and not seen 1/100th of what it had to offer until I went with 3 much more veteran explorers.

Wow there's so much variety in this one location, I find myself trying to figure out what went on there. That photo with the images all over the wall is aesthetically interesting and seems so out of place from the others.. but I love it. I also just really enjoy the colors in photo 5. All of these photos are quality compositions- you have a good eye!

Haha, no problem, I can't say that I'm exactly sure on how to do that either. I know all about locations capturing your wonder. I think that is a common link we all share here.

6 wtf?

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

That was all porno mag pics SCREWED into the walls. Not thumbtacks, not tape, but screws. A crazy guy known to have chased away other people lives/lived there. The table in the bottom right of the picture apparently had a mattress on it at one point so the individual might be gone by now.

Right outside his room, it fit in with the rest of the place. Industrial shelving with some kind of grid coordinates on the ceiling rafters to map out parts way back when....and a partially collapsed floor as this part of the building/complex had wooden floors.

--------------------------------

I realize how picture and my babbling intensive this post is...but that's my style. Sorry.
