A Rainy Day

Perfect for some exploring. We headed to this location that my friend had told me about. It was very nice in its day, and had plenty of things to do including an ice skating rink and a small ski slope.

Some of the first pictures I took upon arrival

Some rooms and more. As you can see, some of them were in great shape. One had an odd set-up probaly done by a previous explorer. And some rooms didnt have anything left.

And this was probably the best picture I took, and my favorite part of the whole complex.

Nice. You dont see people shoot that ballroom very often.

It always amazes me how vandalized this place got in such a short period of time. I went in 2011 or 2012 and it was pristine. Not a molecule of spray paint in the whole place. By 2014 it was a disaster.

I almost missed that ballroom. I was using the flash on my phone for this shot, since my flashlight batteries were on their way out.

Damn! This place has changed a lot! While there wasn't any spray paint when I went, there was a ton of mildew and mold in some of those rooms. Still looks to be the case.

Does anyone have a picture of this place before most of the destruction? I recall seeing a photo of the bowling alley on here.

I only took pictures in the bowling alley for some reason. I think because I didnt have a tripod with me and the place seemed boring compared to other things in the area. Im kicking myself now for not shooting the rest.

There was a request for some historical pictures of this place.
