That place is beautiful and your pics are beautifully composed. I can't imagine what it would be like to cook for a family gathering on that ancient stove.

After this post I started hearing the same from others. Sucks when that happens but all I can say is that no one has learned that location from me, and no one will.

Sorry if it seemed like I was implying you were. I wasn't. There seems to be a whole new breed of explorer out there today who has no problem sharing locations. Places are getting trashed faster than ever these days. What ever happened to finding your own locations ?? Of course I did find out about that place from a friend and God only knows how many other people they shared it with.

your pictures make me sad in a way because so many people have left New York, or died and have no one left.
I was curious as to what part of the state this is in? I live in northern NY, about an hour forty-five north of Albany.
(no I wasn't looking for an address or anything like that... my days of trundling through abandonments are done. Was merely curious.)

It's actually really really sad when people put locations on blast without thinking of the ramifications. This place is gorgeous and I hope one day I can stumble upon it but it's hard to think I will because all it takes is that one person to ruin it for everyone. Rant over, anyways great shots as always man!

I love it and thanks for sharing the manufacturer mark! I love the bed and the milk cans in the new set as well. I'm far away so it's unlikely I'll ever see this place so I'm really glad I got to see your shots of it.

Recently heard a rumor that's exactly what happened. Was told the place is now secured and even has a few cameras. Just a rumor, but I suspected it was coming.
