Found out about this abandoned subdivision near me online. Apparently all the homeowners but one sold to a developer that's planning on building an office park or something on the land. I can't find out too much on why they all sold, but they left a ton of stuff behind and it looks like moved out pretty quick and only a few years ago based on the stuff they left lying around. And I'm sorry about the pictures, I'm having computer problems so I'm posting from my phone right now.

For sure! I was surprised with how trashed the insides of the houses were, and the fact that someone put a toilet in the shower, that the glass door was totally fine

That's no big deal and it's fine to post them as you did if you want.
Just don't post images on their side or upside down because that is rude and a stone's throw away from trolling.
That little code trick is somewhat hidden here which is why I pointed it out
This is a fun, easy, versatile forum.
The more you play with it, the more it grows on you.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I inadvertantly but completely messed up everything on a previous post and deservedly got called out on it. I've enjoyed being on here but I definitely don't want to piss off everybody else on here (made sure to only put my favorites on this one and triple checked to make sure I wasn't posting anything upside down and sideways). I appreciate you helping me out!

Went here about the time it began blowing up online with popularity, and went to check it out with a few friends. As we entered, one of the yards to a house was on fire and spreading quick. we called the FD, and it was extinguished. We told the police we were just out there taking pictures, which they seemed to be fine with. The whole place could have burned down if we hadn't gone at that exact moment, that day!

That's cool that they were alright with you being there. And thanks for calling the FD about it! That'd been really shitty if the whole place burned down.
Overall, I was surprised by how much of the personal stuff was left behind by the people that lived there, but it's kinda disappointing how trashed it got after I left. When I went like half the houses were fine but the rest were already pretty smashed (I heard the one with the torn out stairs had that done for some safety reason by the developers, though).
