Filth to the hilt, theirs be the guilt, who leave their rot in every spot. This has to be the most disgusting house I have ever been in. Trash was everywhere. If you like old pizza boxes, empty cat food cans, and grocery bags filled with God knows what, then here is a little piece of heaven. If not, welcome to HOARDER HELL. 1

Garbage aside it looks like a really cute house. Did it smells or had it been sitting long enough to be okay inside?

Smell is an understatement. This place stank! I am not really sensitive to smell but this place was an exception. Other than the garbage and the smell it is a rather nice house. It is also on a good lot so maybe someone will do something with it.

One Question!?! How did you maneuver through this trash to get these pictures? You HAD to of had nastiness up to your waist in some of these rooms. Hope you didn't stomp on a dead body...Eeuu! That bedroom and bathroom is disgusting. Ive actually been in similar homes of filth, but this one has them beat!!

Fortunately the top layer of trash was mostly diet cherry coke boxes so that sorta kept me from falling in. My tripod from time to time would slip off the box or old ceiling tile in to the unknown. This " as you could imagine" was very annoying it also did not help that one of the legs came back up wet. Also there was this one spot on the mound of trash where I would step and it made a hissing noise. I got that on video, have know idea what I am going to do with it.

That is pretty gross for sure. I don't think it was animal that I was stepping on. It made the noise that a can of instant whipped cream would make when you press the nozzle down. Did the dead cat smell or was it a sterile squisher?
|
|
The hissing was probably gasses being released from God knows what kind of garbage.

I imagine it smelled just like this house smelled... My eyes 👀 and nostrils 👃 burned from the dead cats and their feces. Oh pip, sorry to tell you this but, go back and review bathroom pic with tub... far left....dead cat...see the hair and bones.... No telling how many animals are under all that nasty trash.🙀

Holy HELL! Someone could make a killing off all those recyclables. Pictures #8 & #9 remind me a little of the sand dune house of Namibia only with trash!

I didn't even notice that while I was there!Poor kitty just didn't have a chance.

Wow! That place is wild! Maybe someone could make disposable leg covers for the tripod. Great shots, especially doing what it takes to capture those.
Still working on it... Until then IG: @the_digital_cow |

Art in any form should elicit some sort of emotional response Never thought Gagging would be an emotional response. D= Sensitive stomachs aside, great job Pip!!

**I don't know why NOTHING showed when I posted this - so I'm trying to see if I just deleted some crucial character...tis Monday after all ***
Observation on #6 - Ice cream AND Healthy Choice dinners - gotta have that balanced diet after all! OMG - the microbiologist in me is SCREAMING - Run Forrest RUUUNNNNNN! These are great pictures but I worry the cost to get them to ya Pip. Please remember the invisible world of microbes has killed more than a few in history. Sorry I'm "mom-ing" here, but these houses are truly more dangerous than you know. Hoarders will ensure I always have a place in the world. The last huge outbreak we worked there was a hoarder who eventually died from Elizabethkingia (you can search the news for the outbreak coverage) and we saw his house was like this but WORSE. There was GREEN water and slime in the bathtub. This person had taken to throwing wood pellets EVERYWHERE as "kitty litter". Sadly, no pics - lawyers suck more fun out of the air than a dead cat.
I'm glad you're still standing. I saw lots of cat food boxes, cans, etc. I didn't see the dead kitty - but rest assured I'm not going back to look. They are there. En masse. That "hiss" is decaying organic matter - loaded with fun microbes to make you sterile and sick. We need to get you geared up with some disposable Tyvek suits, a PAPR, shoe covers and nitrile gloves. Its no fun knowing a scientist is it? We suck the fun our of.....dying. Imma just worried for ya. Stay safe. You're still young and have hope. Leave the dying to us old peeps.
