Hello everyone, another new guy here that's been hit with the explore bug. Been exploring my local area for awhile, and it's been a blast. I enjoy the adventure of the explore. Just wanted to introduce myself. While I love to explore, I'm very jealous and envious of some of the awesome and beautiful pics all you ladies and gentlemen post, unfortunately all I carry is an iPhone and try to capture all that I can. Hope to figure out how to load and share pics soon. Hello and thanks to all.

Oh, and if there is an easy tutorial to post pics from an iPhone, I'd love to give it a look. Not too tech savvy and can't seem to find one. It would be fun to share my explores. Thanks.

Welcome to UER A phone will work fine as long as you respect it's limitations. Try to compose and square up the shots as best as possible. We like pics and stories. The subject is more important than the cam... Read as many threads and posts here as you can to better understand UER. Contribute; post quality posts and threads in the appropriate forums. Enjoy
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

Welcome! Probably using a photo sharing site such as Flickr to host your pictures would be a good option, instead of trying to upload them using this websites photo platform. Once you upload an image on Flickr you just go to the share button, then click BBcode, then copy that link into the text of your thread. Also remember that anyone can see these post made on this site, or what you post on a photo sharing site. So just keep that in mind when posting information on here “or in general for that matter”. Can’t wait to see some photos.

Always good to see another explorer here in Alabama. Hope you stick around and share some places . You may just have an iphone but you've got some great shots up on your Flickr.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, and for the info! I will do what I can with what I've got, and if I slip on accident, please, please feel free to steer me back on the correct path! Thanks again.

Thanks for the info. All I was able to do was paste a link. Something I need to keep working on. I definitely do not want to expose any unnecessary info threw this site or Flickr. If I do please feel free to lead me to the correct path. Thanks!

Haha thanks!
And to get the picture to show up in the forum, once you've opened the share menu, go over to the BBcode section where you can set the image dimensions and copy paste that link into the chat box .

Holy fucking shit! I don't know if you realized it at the time but that's a square grand piano you photographed in your flickr album! (Not the upright piano.) Square grands are ancient and rare! You really ought to try and contact whomever owns that property and ask them about saving it if possible, if it's still there. More info on square grands (from when I was researching piano restoration for my heirloom baby grand): http://antiquepian...uare-grand-pianos/ http://www.shafferpianos.com/squares/

If you're in north Alabama you must've driven for quite a while there to get to eastern tn.

Those pictures inside the school are great! I really liked the one with the crushed mini globe. I'm not artistic, so I don't know why I liked it, but it just resonated with me. If all you are using is your iPhone, that give me some hope. Those were great pics
