Hey all, I am a explorer from Wisconsin. Our wisconsin crew is pretty small, but we like to mingle with other midwest groups(most notably msp). I will be traveling to Portland from the 2nd until the 5th and would love either to meet up and explore or get a point in the right direction. How is the underground? Should I bring my rubbers? Cheers, Z.

Welcome, just in time to miss the snowiest icestorm we had in a long time. Underground stuff... perhaps better in six months or so when its not raining every day.

That's a good day out here... Enough to break out the kayak and hit some slopes. Any amount of above ground adventures? Who knows, maybe I'll be too busy romping around in nature. Winter camping 🙂🙃

It's already back to normal and we might not have an ounce of snow in town for the season and the week you mentioned is likely gonna rain every day.

If you are interested in outdoors stuff I was a park ranger in the gorge for my first 2 years here. I'd be happy to tell you my favorite hikes, waterfalls, lava tubes and hot springs!

Hey! I would love to see waterfalls, lava tubes and hot springs! Can't say we have many lava tubes or hot springs in wisconsin! I am staying in west linn, a bit rainy today. Could you recommend anything local?
