So ive been returning to these powerhouses fairly frequently throughout the past year, and they never disappoint. Powerhouse 1 is much easier to access than 2, as theres a (locked) access road which you are able to follow the whole way to it. powerhouse 2 however, is only reachable by boat or an access trail that stems off near powerhouse 1. in all my several times of hiking here, i have never experienced BC hydro workers. it is a fairly easy hike that never disappoints.

no unfortunately i didn't have the tools with me. but i easily could with proper tools

Looks like great scenery and a fantastic view. The outdoors are always some of my favorite spots.
