abandoned kindergarten / daycare

After an epic European tour that had me exploring in Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary and Germany. Urban exploration here at home now seems pointless. But I do have a weak spot for creepy dolls and there was a few of them here. Although the overall building was not exciting to visit. I was kept entertained by trying to figure a creepy way to stage the dolls.

Had a rat running over my foot in the basement. After watching 3 seasons of the walking dead over the past 5 days... kinda spooked me.
I Didn't have my tripod with me, so I didn't bother taking photos downstairs... Mind you, there really was not much to look at down there anyways. bunch of kids toys, several washrooms...

Oh and apparently its going up for sale in the near future...

I'm confused...

This is from when you were in Europe? Or is this here in BC/Alberta?

This kindergarten is in the lower mainland. Its getting hard to find interesting places that I havent been to all ready. Many of my favorites have long been torn down.

When i was in europe i was checking out abandoned train yards, medical facilities, ww2 bunkers, theaters, mansions, aquatic centers, factories, boarding school, movie theater, church.... list goes on.

Nice shots. Did you see real estate signs on the property or is it just rumored to be listed soon?

The coloring in a lot of the photos in your set make me crave for some reason rainbow colored white cake with lots of rainbow sprinkles and frosting!.

I think too that it is a little creepy all the dolls hanging by their necks, Some dark and twisted minded doll killing fantasizer!

The various doll shots are pretty great haha, I'm especially fond of the one missing an eye!

How did you set them up before leaving? Hope you gave the next explorer something fun to walk into lol

For urban exploration...Kassel, Bad Wildungen, Erfurt, Berlin, Cottbus. bunch of towns in between as I rented a car and would find random places along the way.

Been to Frankfurt, not a fan. Spent two night the first time I was in Germany, and just a few hrs last time (waiting for a train connection)
