Industrial site and gravel mine

I took a bike tour before this quarter started, and now that it's over I realized I didn't add anything here. I waited for sunset at the gravel mine so I could get a sweet shot of Raineer, which made for a spooky ride to where I threw up my hammock on a cliff to catch the sunrise (it got cloudy ). According to a local, the gravel mine hooked into the local fire hydrants and carved a massive canyon bowl out of a beach cliff. It made the beach Hawaii smooth though, my new getaway spot It was a solidly fun ride down and doing mtn bike jumps by a location gave me a boner. It was also a super sketchy walk out to the end of the conveyer belt (pictured). My friend had climbed the tower, but I was sketched out by the layer of rust to do much more than walk the frame wearing my helmet after a bit of grating collapsed under my weight.

Next day I hit up a bunch of old abandoned shops, most were sealed so I didn't bother with pics because nothing I couldnt get off of google street view. I also found a strange gazebo-esque structure between a park and a different mine but was unable to find an access trail and didn't have time to bushwhack.

Final location on the way out was an abandoned industrial site that was a huge centerpiece and employer for the local economy. I had surveyed it earlier and hadnt found an open entrance, and there was a security guard sporadically in his shed. On my way leaving town later I spotted someone mowing the lawn and they were cool enough to let me roam, but truthfully said there weren't entrances. Just a bunch of old storage sheds that were full of the rooftop antennas and solar panels and random junk. I plan to return to find an EP at some point.
