Anybody have an idea on what security looks like at Central State Prison? Been planning a trip but wanna know if its even worth going so I don't have to turn back around for nothing.

First, you're new here so welcome!
Before you get flamed for doing the equivalent of pulling you dick out at a cocktail party, I'll help you out by directing you here:

Check out the Rookie Forum to learn how we do things around here. Two big no no's is asking for specific site locations the other is talking about entry/security.
The reasons for this are many but they essentially boil down to this:
1. This is NOT Urban Tourism, it's Urban Exploration. Find your own locations (this why your first post was never answered). Also people have used this site to vandalize/destroy locations.
2. The biggest rule here is not to discuss points of entry. Many here are committing a crime by going into these locations and sharing methods/techniques could result in making you an accessory to any crime. Also it's about figuring things out for yourself.
The general feeling at UER is that newbies are always welcome but trust is earned, not given. Show us what you've been able to do, meet up with other explorers from the site and post thoughtful and interesting posts.

From what I understand it's locked down pretty tight and has security roaming the grounds.

Active cops and security patrol the property. Within the gated areas. Really active. You better be okay with being arrested. The risk is high.
