"Firefighters said the second floor of the home was fully engulfed when they arrived. They worked to protect surrounding structures from the fire.

One neighbor told KGW she’s called police several times about people on the property, and seen them stealing tools.

"Teenagers aren't obeying authorities, teenagers think they have a right to an abandoned house," said the neighbor, who didn't want her name released. "Not just teenagers, adults too."

It was fine for 12 years, then it gets looted, then burnt down.
Posting stuff like this, photos of inside tours with a post card showing the freaking ADDRESS and all. Totally didn't see this happening, right?

Anecdotally, it's been a party house for a while. I don't think OP had anything to do with it.

Opsec is definitely a priority though. Only 3 rooms were damaged by the fire but it's probably not a viable explore with all the attention.

Yeah to be fair based on the original photos posted it looks like the house was already fucked. Just a matter of time before some idiots burned it down.

What's your point? I didn't insinuate Freddie Quell started the fire.

Everything is a matter of time. Advertising can only make the inevitable boom sooner. No question about that. There are plenty of attention whore narcissists born with a silver spoon in their mouth. They're only concerned with their Crapgram fame and over share the crap out of it.

If you'll take another look at the postcards, I only posted ones that show a PO box rather than an actual address. Nonetheless, I did feel pretty bad when the house burnt. I doubt I'll really be posting many photos from now on.

Sad about the fire in late May. Not sure what the condition is now, but a firefighter was injured while putting it out. Every time I've gone there's been random high school kids wandering through, so I guess it's not too surprising.

The house has a great history, though! There was apparently a good group of homeowners in the area who didn't want their property annexed into a housing development. Mr. Lang was so against it that he worked it into his will.

You can prolly dredge up a physical address with that info.
Regardless this place was obviously seeing a lot of traffic from people who didn't care long before you posted.
I wouldn't sweat it... just be aware what you post here can alter the site and more.
Sometimes it's best to sit on images until it doesn't matter.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I found out about the place from an apparently long-dead blog that mentioned it and the name of the road it's on, which then led me on a pretty brief google earth hunt until I found it. I really doubt that a UER post could change this particular place much... the local high-schoolers alone abuse the living hell out of it pretty constantly.
