Hey everyone, new member here. A couple years ago, my wife and I decided to check out an old powerhouse we heard about on the BC Coast. It took us about an hour to hike in, but it was a fun experience. We got to the powerhouse and had a little walk about while keeping an eye out for anyone else but lucked out. Couldn't find any kind of way inside, but the exterior was good enough for the both of us!
I hope you enjoy. I appreciate any feedback.

Welcome! Some nice photos you have there. My friend and I went there earlier this year, theres also another powerhouse in the area as well. We didn't get inside either but its a very nice area for a hike, and even just the exteriors of the buildings are interesting enough to make it worth the trip.

Thanks man! Yeah, it's a beautiful area. We moved away to Vancouver Island a while ago, but if I'm ever back in the area I think I'll go again.

Good to see this again. The tunnel that goes with that is on my list, but hard to get out there for me. There are similar structures on the island.

Yeah, I haven't had much of a chance to get out looking for much nearby lately. Found a few neat things on some of the local small islands and I'm planning on making a trip up to the Johnstone Straight in the spring or summer to check out a particular island, as long as I can time getting boat access and weather well enough.

Is there a tunnel near the power stations? I love tunnels! If so I will definitely have to go back.

Unless I'm totally off about what this is, there is a very long, tall and old rock-blasted tunnel connecting the two lakes as part of this system. hilite had a good post about it in the drainer forum a while back. Do let me know if you're going back and want some company
