Wedding Crashers

The wife and I had to run out of town for her co-workers wedding so we didn't go totally prepared for exploring. Ran into this empty dog treat warehouse which was pretty cool find and literally right down the road from the hotel. Next you see here is probably a well known local spot, most of the rides/attractions are long since gone and nothing but piles of rubble left.

Cool locations. And even cooler that you found while there. Good job.

Primo locations and excellent shots.
I love the press machinery that stamped out doggie bones and the occasional christmas treat. Nice finds, for sure.

Though, I gotta ask...if nothing else, for my own curiosity:
How was the vermin situation at the factory? I know that mice and rats love dog food and treats and wondered if it was just a giant magnet for them at that place, since there was still a lot of the food around. I'm not a big fan of rodents (of regular or "unusual size") and haven't had to deal with many out scouting yet.

In the last year, I've been stung by wasps, run through countless spider-webs, and gotten the worst case of chiggers i've ever had...but, luckily, have seen zero snakes or mice. They just happen to be my two least favorite things, so i'm always on the lookout.

The dog bone shape rollers are badass. I've never seen that before. Good work!

Every time you read this, I become more powerful.

Thanks guys! That's why we fell in love with it. Its not your run of the mill factory or warehouse but something out of the ordinary and not in every town.

We didn't see any rodents but that doesn't mean they aren't there. We didn't see any food or anything like that either, just the boxs, molds, and lots of destroyed paperwork. Although there was a lot of what looked like coon shit on the conveyor belts lol. I have a lot more shots of the warehouse on my camera but my photobucket is full gonna have to get better picture hosting.

Great shots. Went to that local amusement park a dozen times growing up. Loved the Whacky Shack!

Whacky Shack is the best! So many great memories riding that ride. Or the leaky as hell whale boats lol.
