I paid this place a visit. The explore was actually broken into three parts: two small buildings nearby the warehouse along the coast, three abandoned and trashed ships tied to the docks out back, and then the main warehouse itself.

@blackhawk: One of the ships had your name on it.

Enjoy!

Dammit, when I was there the boats had drifted just far enough to not be able to get on

Awesome photo sets! I love that place. I think I might've shared these on here somewhere, but I'll toss a few of my own shots into the gallery too if it's alright!

Love the shots! I'm jealous of your timing with the sunbeam on the car.

Thanks!

That was definitely all luck. I think I was there around 2 or 3pm that day...? I was originally going to explore the bunkers to the north of San Francisco, but changed plans at the last minute due to traffic. Definitely well worth it!

Hey y'all. In case anyone was planning on making a trip here, there is now a guard posted here & all the exterior art was painted over. I'm kind of surprised this place was so accessible for so long, to be honest.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm glad I made several trips here, even bumped into some fire spinning gals on day. Maybe the owners/the city are planning to make something usable out of it? Anyways here's a shot from my 2nd trip there.

As you can see on google maps, the 3 boats are gone. The other day other members and I had found 2 of them located elsewhere by complete accident. We were planning on going to this location and two of the boats ended up being there with some new locks on them.

Ya, I was fairly certain those boats are live-a-boards and was thinking damn all you guys really went on those boats and lived to post about it. Previously, I've seen several boats sitting there, but they were running power and ejecting water out of certain orifices.

There's a lot of misconception that the naval officers quarter is actually a church, but yeah.. last time I tried to get into that the police department was training their canine units there. Not really worth it.

Going to add a few more photos to support this thread. Seeing the tug boats was a treat. Too bad I was to much of a weinie to make the jump off the dock to the boat lol. This warehouse was my last explore while visiting family in California. Sorry for the late post years later. Easily accessible and exploring was up for the taking. Too bad there was so much graffiti. Some say they go hand in hand but places like this should have remained vandal free.
