Hello explorers! I am in the Boston, MA area. I have been exploring a large developmental center complex near me a few times a week for the past few months. It's been a great place to practice my photography. I mostly end up exploring it alone since my friends aren't very good at sneaking around. As much as I love them they are not very good at following directions and get flustered easily. It's so huge I have only made it through most of the eastern side of the campus. It's almost 200 acres. I know my way around fairly well on the eastern side now. Luckily I was able to find good maps online as well. There are at least 60 or so buildings to explore. There are still some tunnels I've found but I hate exploring tunnels alone. It's definitely worth the visit. The level of decay varies from building to building since some buildings were closed much earlier than others. There is still a lot of stuff left around especially in the basements. You can find some really old stuff. I've even found old manual washing machines before they had electric ones. There is also an abandoned evidence storage facility. It looks like they rented one of the buildings out to the state police at one point and they just kind of up and left some melee weapons and other items used in murders. There is even some blood evidence and x-rays with bullets in them along with plaster impressions. If anyone is interested let me know. I'm always looking to head up there.

I've always loved that place. I remember about 6 years ago going there for the first time and being blown away

Lately this place has been my home away from home, and one of my favorite explores. I have quite a bit more to see, so shoot me a message if you're interested! Just an FYI, the top corner is slated for demo, as well as some of the more unstable (yet more beautiful) buildings. last time I was there they were moving some dirt and digging some pipes up.

Looks like a fun spot, and I have no idea where it is. Can someone fill me in?

You have some great photos there, it looks amazing! Most of my exploring has been in southern/central MA, but I've had this facility on my list for some time. Let me know if you ever need a buddy when you go.
