I live a two mile walk from this giant complex almost 200 acres and frequent it often. There is also an abandoned evidence storage facility here for some reason. I'm always looking to make new friends to join me. My friends seem to lack common sense when I take them out. Some people just aren't good at sneaking around. It makes me sad because there are some nice cottages here just rotting away that look like they were remodeled recently and there are people without homes. I'd love to score one of these cottages.

I know this place. A friend of mine went there recently and a cop caught her exploring but they let her go eventually, without an arrest. LOL

You have to be careful. They have security and the security will call the cops if they see you. If you are really nice they should let you go. I have been exploring there for quite some time and have managed to evade security. You have to stay out of their line of sight and stay in the buildings as much as possible. You also have to be careful with your flashlights. I don't use mine outside most of the time and if I do it's a very dim flashlight aimed at the ground. You also have to be willing to bushwhack a little. You can't really see thorough the windows during the daytime. I guess it's all about common sense and knowing where the active building is in the complex and working around it. I have actually explored places next to the active building and not gotten caught. The security only drives around it doesn't enter buildings. I will admit I had to do some ninja moves before to evade security. The worst was when I had to duck into some major brush and crawl through an almost too small hole in a fence then down a few flights of overgrown metal stairs into a window hole that lead to a basement. To my surprise it was the coolest building I had seen in the whole place. It even had old manual washers before electricity and refrigerators and items painted that awesome mid century aqua.

I always have realtree and black clothing for if I go at night. I have a black backpack. I even bought a real tree netted face mask because all the gross stuff from bushwhacking would get stuck in my hair. I remember walking to the gas station once afterwards to grab a drink and the lady said you have something in your hair. I was horrified to see my hair and shoulders were covered with cobwebs.

Some explorers once left their bags of tents outside the building and the backpack was bright red and full of gear. I decided to mess with them and write them a note stating politely that they should hide their stuff better because I don't want to get caught because they are attracting attention and that they should probably not set their tents up in the buildings covered in black mold and asbestos. I could have totally snatched their gear. Dumbest move ever.

The big effort you've been making to describe your adventures in minute detail is rather comical and entertaining (in a good way). Keep up the good work! LOL

I'm a weird girl with weirder hobbies. I have to be thorough. I'd be seriously heart broken if I lost my favorite spot to take photos.
