Road to Destruction

Made a trip south and visited a couple of old churches and then made my way to few restaurants and a stadium. A couple are from a recent trip north to an asylum.

Nice set dude. Such a shame seeing the last place getting ripped down. I've recently discovered what a great campus it is, and that building was the first one I ever got inside there. Hopefully the plans don't include too much more.

I really like how you captured areas that should be/used to be full of people. The racetrack, the church, the gym, the bar, dining room. Areas that once entertained hundreds and now only attract a special few. It's a shame to see posts of places being torn down though, i'm so new to the world of urbex and I feel like I missed out on something amazing great set though

Amazing! #2 blows my mind and #1 looks like something out of a Harry Potter movie.

Think I recognize the Paterson stadium that I started to sneak into...until 3 crackheads started to come out of the one old concession stand (I assume) and I turned around and went back to the falls post haste

If they follow the latest plan only one more should be coming down and sadly there being turned into fields

2 is a magnificent photograph.

and 3-4-5 are also cool shots.

but, it's in 8 where i can see the scene of life from decades ago play out before my eyes.

I was just at #1, #2, and #3 this past weekend. What was really interesting was the fact that the majority of the building was gutted except for the one room. You could tell the whole place was extravagant at one time. The stadium is always a cool one. Last time I was there someone came and just opened the gate for a bunch of kids to go inside.

#8 looks great. Is that an abandoned railcar, or just a narrow room?
