Old Bay Area Train Tunnel

This was a cool explore from about two weeks ago. I was walking along the current train tracks and found this old train tunnel no longer in use. It was boarded up but I was to slide through a crack and walk all the way through until we reached the other end, which was closed off with dirt. A little bit of graffiti. The tunnel was huge and was very interesting.

Oh nice! I saw this CCTV graffiti on some pictures before but I had no idea where it was. Nice find.

Extraordinary photo RomainPP!!! I love the use of red light and natural light. ALso the use of many models in different poses in assorted locations. Great abandonment feel from this one.

Tunnel overall looks like a fun time and good for some pictures!
Would anyone wanna PM me to help with finding the location?
Although I have some ideas where the tunnel might be...

It's a shame that we Americans are not civilized-enough for that tunnel to be re-opened as a pedestrian walkway & short-cut from Point-A to Point-B, but that's the ugly reality of our 'culture.'

Amen, brother. At least we get some exploring material out of it.

I would agree with you except not with this tunnel because there is not much on either end. This area isn't a walk around kind of place either. I just see it as another hidden gem to explore. However, if there were people who needed this tunnel to make their lives either then I wish they wouldn't have sealed the other end, filled it with dirt, put in lights, and paved the ground.

Sit outside the entrance, and a thrush will land nearby. It will proceed to knock a snail on a stone with its beak. As the sun slowly sets, the suns final ray will shine light down on to the hidden key hole. From there it's easy just watch out for the guard at the nearby business.

We did the exact same thing at thunderdome. Coincidence, I think not.

If previous pictures didn't show the sheer size of this tunnel, I hope these do. This tunnel is absolutely massive. Too bad it doesn't go too far.
