So today a friend and I went exploring for some places to look at, we ended up driving all the way down to Denver, and found an old factory. We wanted to get closer but it was a very busy area and a large Distribution plant was in front of it as well. So maybe I'll get back to it when it is a bit darker, not sure yet. But on the way home we found what we had ventured out for, a little white house on a prairie. I would've seen it on the way but a grassy hill basically hides it when you're going North I-25. Anyways, I took some pictures of the site, it looks like security was beefed up since the place had a UER location database entry. So this could update that a little possibly.
A very distant shot of the walk up.
Small gate with some chains on it, nothing crazy, but a added measure to security.
Shot of the back of the building, and outhouse!
A more dedicated outhouse picture.
Inside of the outhouse.
And the front door! Double pad locked, so they definitely don't want anyone inside the building anymore. Pretty sad about that but it isn't a big deal. Still had plenty of fun on the little trip up. But that's about it for that location! Pretty neat, very interesting, and definitely nice for a beginner explorer. I hope you all enjoy the location update, although it isn't possible to enter without damage to property it is very neat. And I'm still learning pictures, so they'll look crappy for a bit.

Nice set! Keep posting. I'll be headed that way in about a week and a half, I can't wait!

Thank you! I definitely will, I've been searching for some more locations as of late. Really kinda held back by waiting for a flashlight I ordered to arrive though sadly.

I feel like I have seen this very house numerous times on my way to Monument. What a neat little place, great find & photos!

Yeah its right along Parkers exit on I-25, there's a second one too off of mile 172 or something like that. I see a lot of cars parked in front of it so I'm thinking you might actually be able to go inside of it and look around for a change. But thank you! I appreciate it.

You know... These look like the buildings that were once the repeaters along the former Denver-El Paso Toll line route of the Bell System. It went in around 1910 and was decommissioned in the 1970s as fiber optic and satellite links supplanted telco open wire and coaxial cable routes. Take a look in a straight line north or south, and I'll bet ya, you'll find the cable markers.
