Long day of exploring in some very cool Tennessee locations. Hit up a massive yarn mill that I had semi-explored 5 years ago before being chased out by dogs, needless to say, this run was more successful, and it was awesome to finally see the full scale of exploring the building had to offer. 1.

After the mill we set out in search of a nearly mile long train tunnel in the mountains (still active). We were curious about information regarding the construction of the tunnel, and how it consequently opened sections of a large cave system. The idea was to explore the length of the tunnel and search for any evidence of cave entrances from inside. We found not only evidence, but multiple entrances still open inside the tunnel, unfortunately without adequate gear we were only able to explore one of the connecting caves, which ended up routing us back to the outside world. Still very curious about where the other caves might lead. Here's some half-assed tunnel light-painting and cave shots! 9.

I really like the light painting that you did in the tunnel, nice set. Tennessee is a goldmine, I lived there for 10 years and sadly when I left I was wayy too young to explore, now I go back there every now and then and the locations there are amazing.

Nice shots and a great location. I especially love 2 and 4. I love how you captured the nature overtaking the building.

Ah yes, the dogs everybody was soooo scared of they bailed -_- I still think they were strays and NOT guard dogs for a meth lab. Especially considering there was a stray laying on the steps outside the building.
