A very interesting and fun derelict that I checked out last February. There was a little bit of graffiti. I had to walk through some sort of industrial work zone to break into this prison, ironically. It was fascinating to look at the different type of cells, such as the solitary confinement type of rooms and imagine old times when these were still in use. The building as a whole had an interesting layout. Just took some quick flicks while inside and planning on going back to focus more on getting some good shots if anyone would like to join me, just message me. 1.

Love how some people post photos and try their best to pick and choose their wording as not to give places away and are very careful
and then someone else comes along and blows the place out of the water with a name drop

Give it a rest, already. Be selective where you play that card. You've been here long enough to know...let the noobs and basic members have some fun and explore... even if they go to sites already explored to death 10 times over. It's not like this location is some best kept secret. Any Joe Schmo can walk right into this specific building during the week and take their sweet time capturing photos without any risk of getting caught. The property owner is very open to that, as long as you ask nicely, don't overstay your welcome and leave before they close. This is a unique location which allows budding explorers to get some skin in the game. Give'em a chance and bite your tongue for a change.

There's currently a company using this building, and I thought they had moved in long prior to February. Did they just leave these parts of the building derelict?

That "company" has owned the property for well over a decade. The plan was to demolish that building and recycle the raw materials. They have no problem with people going in there to take pictures.

Glad to hear it. I tried to contact the owner when I was in the area, but ran out of time before hearing back or attempting to enter on my own. Looks like I'll have to plan another trip down.

Just go there on a weekday when they are open. Ask the foreman/supervisor if it's OK to go in and take photos (have your camera gear in hand with you when you ask). They let photographers and students from the nearby university in there all the time. Just be nice and be out of there before they close...and don't park inside their gates...they have been known to lock up early...in which case you might have to jump the fence to leave. 1.

Got a call back and I can confirm -- they're super friendly to photographers/explorers. I love to see this!

Great spot, always low on the radar and surprisingly not over ridden by crappy graffiti artists and vandals. With that being said, here's a video I shot last year at said spot. https://youtu.be/KRoUz7aX5_w

That's a super cool video. I like the rays of sunlight that you captured coming in the windows.
