Newbie UE soon moving to the area of Greensboro NC, and wanting to visit some neat but safe sites around my area.

I'm looking for people to go urban exploring with in the Triad. I live in Winston-Salem and I think Greensboro would probably have more *safe* (ie no cops) abandoned buildings. But I'm willing to meet up anywhere.

Walk the RR tracks, you will always find something.
If cops are the concern, the less people the better. I prefer solo every time...

I've lived here for awhile but am just starting to explore & photograph. The only spot I've gotten to go was an abandoned tunnel.

You're off to a good start so far by reaching out to others but this tends to be a cloistered group of people who are skittish about newcomers (for good reason).
Try doing some explores on your own (Read the Rookie Forum on this site for great advice), take some interesting photos and have a good story. Once people begin to recognize you, your world will open up.
While it's great to learn from others, I've found that experience is the best teacher, so get out there and show us what you've got!
