Posted by Technomancer Thanks for showing us out-of-towners the sights! Had a blast, dude. Germ, how'd that pic of the long building turn out? As sexy as the two you posted?

Those DentPharm pics are awesome, and I'm super jealous of the exploring you guys did of that place. I love all the different architecture of the older buildings on campus and all the weird rooms that exist throughout, some of which that haven't been used in years. There's so much I want to explore, chem has some weird lecture halls and rooms, biosci's supposed hidden classroom that's only accessible through a closet, ag forestry center, FAB has some weird completely closed off areas, biz sky lounge area... I'm a student there and so I have a decent enough alibi and if anyone wants to explore it, shoot me a message. One other thing: anyone have an idea as to what that place that is tucked into the middle of the river valley along the river just north of the U of A and only accessible through that service road from the Kinsmen parking lot? It's intrigued me for years. Looking at Google Earth gives me no real clues...

That facility by the river is listed as sewage on my drain map. There is old sewage infrastructure east. This must be what replaced it.

Really? Perhaps you misunderstood what place I was talking about. Ny research led me to find out that it was for the U of A hvac systems. http://www.facilit...illed%20Water.aspx Maybe the old sewage infrasturcture east would be the old QE plant (or noob fortress or whatever people call it).

I added the DentPharm to our illustrious database gentleman, but I have only my own mediocre shots to display! I'd appreciate if you guys would add your own albums to better illustrate the epic nature of this place.

It's weird because pieces of the building were active, pieces were empty and cleared out, and pieces were under active construction, the kind where everyone would come into work on Monday morning... -- I don't think I added my photos as an album. Can I do that from where they are now or do I have to go find the JPGs on my computer? Haha

I really appreciated that water cooler we ran into, so thoughtful! And yes, unfortunately it would involve hunting down jpg's and uploading them to an album on the DB page.

The first step in that process, friend, is to share some pics of where you've been!

I will try to stay awake. I just remember being in stasis and magically appearing at each site to do a thing.
