So I was walking on Patapsco state park and decided to finally check out the "Hell House". Never went to it because it is mainly ruins but, since I was near it I thought to go in. From what I have learned this Catholic School was built in 1868. In 1968 a fire destroyed a main building. In 1972 the college shut down with only 10 students graduating. It was given the nickname "Hell House" due to the believe that it had become haunted and people practiced satanic rituals. In 2006 they torn down all the buildings. Only ruins now sit on the earth.
1. First day of my new school
2. My dorm
3. This is where I will sleep.
4. All that's left
I didn't explore the whole area. Will do that latter. If I get any other interesting photos I will post them here.

My friends always tried to convince me to find Hell House and I was never about it. This set validates my fears of the place. Unless you find the alter it's just not worth it cause there's not a damn thing left. Anyhow, welcome to the community fellow MD'er! Keep up the exploring in Patapsco park, you just might find something else!

Yea that is why I never went to it before. But since I was near I thought why not. Thank you for the welcome. I hope to get better pictures of other places soon.

I almost went there today just to kill some time. But, I didn't want to drive all the way up there and get caught in the downpour. The altar is the main shot, but here's the graffiti pool further back as well.

Thank you, It is the altar. Would you believe me if I said I took it with my phone. I have a few more. I will look at them again and find some other good ones.

Here are to others I liked.
1. 2. Not the happiest with the panorama because there are spots it got uneven. 3. Forgot to add this one. It was the pool. Just image water where the grass is.

Nope there is still very few things still standing. I do believe that I have missed a few other things there. Don't know if it is still there but, I have seen photos of some form of tunnel. I hope to search a bit more the next time I go for a hike.

I took the rest of my family to see this place. And well the cross has been stolen. Doesn't look recent there was quite a bit of rust on the cut area. I'm not a religious person but, this definitely irritates me. This was what I would consider the main exhibit of this place. I am just glad I got photos of it before it was too late. Edit: The photo did not show. IMG_20170702_112928 by Doc M.http://, on Flickr">

That is most definitely infuriating. Absolutely no reason to do that other than being an asshat. And indeed, at least you were able to capture it before it was taken. Nice photos my friend, thank you for sharing. That altar is pretty wild and your angles do it justice.
