I recently had the opportunity to go scoop up some great friends for a trip down to our biggest city. We decided to get an early start to the holiday weekend and stay ahead of the traffic (for the most part).
Our first destination had been on the bucket list for quite some time 1.

After that, we spent the afternoon cooling off in a local drain. Several fish were swimming about. 6.

Our next destination was an old favorite which has surely seen better days. This particular trip had it's fair share of flip-flops and flower print sun dresses, as we ran into no less than 4 groups of teens wandering around. 8.

Meeting up with a fellow UER explorer made for a great time. 11.

As evening approached, we made our way to the 4th destination to enjoy the sunset and some (almost) cold beers. 14.

Before heading out of town at 3pm the following morning, we decided to scout one last location. After finding the way in, we came upon a totally gutted old brick building with nice wood floors. Not much to see but it made for a bit of a view. 19.

What a great trip! We need to plan another soon, for sure. I still can't believe this was my first time ever exploring in that area. There's definitely a lot more than i was expecting. Fuck yeah!

Nice to see some more photos from this trip. Been to two of those locations myself. A little more graffiti in the first one than I remember.

Hey. Thanks guys. Great trip indeed. A return trip is surely in store. Unfortunately, one of these spots faced the wrecking ball just a few weeks after this trip. Solvay Coke is now almost entirely gone.
