Hahaha, I like this analogy. Myself I read it as the UER is sinking into the water, so a sinking ship is the kind of ship we’re interested in, figuratively. We like buildings that are going out of style, so we like yachts that are “partially submerged”.. if that makes sense

Is shipping to the U.S. cost prohibitive?

Stamps to the USA cost 35c more, so I added 30c to the shipping cost. I also buy a pack of envelopes, write your addresses on them and make a trip to a postal receptacle within 24hrs of an order coming in. Does that answer your question?

Out of curiosity, I feel like I'm missing a reference with the Yacht Club stickers. Is there a back story with them, or is it just because they're sneaky and discreet?

It's become almost a meme on UER that any post that ends in some sort of trolling flame-war eventually devolves into everyone posting pictures of boats. I assume this is a reference to that, but if it's all a coincidence then it might be even funnier.

(I was actually just playing with Rusty Canadian's ambiguous wording. His "sneaky and discreet" was obviously about the sticker, not about yachts. But it's more fun had it been about yachts, esp. juxtaposed against UE tropes such as ninjas.)

Awesome dude! Glad you like them! I have some white ones coming that will show better against dark - but then again, finding UER should really only be for those who are looking...

Has someone made tee shirts? I would absolutely LOVE a UER Yacht Club shirt, with the print large on the back and maybe just "UER" or the manhole cover design on the breastpocket area.
