Wouldn't it be fun to put a unique link on the business card that takes them to a website that asks 1) I'm a law enforcement officer 2) I like exploring 3) I steal things and make the link stop working after they click one of the options. They only get linked to us if they click they like exploring, otherwise they don't get linked to us. Not super realistic but I think it's a cool idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are we living a life that is safe from harm? Of course not, we never are. But that's not the right question. The question is, are we living a life that is worth the harm? |

I'd gladly pay for and rock a Kirkbride-themed sticker, a la:
Albeit designed by someone like Skatchkins who actually knows what the hell they're doing, of course.

Maybe add "Hazed Barn of Doom survivor".
Baldran did you just give away a POE?

Addicted to Illustrator, send help... I haven't branded them UER - again I'm holding off on all that stuff. But damn, these are gonna make some good stickers either way. 1.
2. I particularly love the hexes. This is a real design, found in cities across North America. You've probably already seen it.
3. I think you pop the TWW open to lift these ones. It's the only design that isn't immediately obvious.

Those designs are great! Replace the city names with "Urban Exploration Resource" or "UER" and it would be perfect.

And the second reply on the original post links to a (then active) discussion of UER Bumper Stickers. Awesome.
I'm a "Leave only footprints, take only pornography" kind of guy, myself. |

I was also looking at the store to see if I could get anything and saw that the page didn't work. So if anyone re-opens the shop or starts selling merchandise let me know!!!

Yeah, Av disabled the store a long time ago. The rising cost of postage plus how time consuming preparing the packages for shipping made operating the store no longer feasible, especially since it was just Av running it in his free time. It became too big of a job for one person to handle, and too expensive to keep up.

I can only guess what the best way to execute that going forward would be. I’d be happy to print and post the orders every month, maybe sell a reasonable quantity every month so it doesn’t get overwhelming with 200 orders. But then do we run it through the store? Just PayPal and email? UER PMs? Lastly, let’s say we only end up doing stickers. Do you get a UER Merch star? I think that’s fair..

I have a CNC vinyl cutter and laser cutter, if whoever has the rights and vector art I can make decals and heat transfers/iron-ons for fabric.

That's rad! Good for larger stuff. If UER ever gets a van... lol. Though unless we have someone that can do high volume stickers (both on white and it would it nice to have on clear vinyl), we'll have to sub it out. Here, I made UER versions of the manholes.

Yeah, I'm certainly not set up for bulk production. My vinyl cutter is a hacked Cricut and my laser has only a 12"x20" cut area. I also used to do screen printing but sold my press when I moved into a smaller house. I have a few friends that do all their stuff through Zazzle, Spreadshirt, & Cafe Press. Lower profit but almost zero risk. Any of those would be good options for UER as all you have to do is set up payment info and upload designs, they do the rest - no minimum orders, set up fees, sunk cost in merchandise, packing and shipping, or any of that mess.

Those are all great, but my personal favorite is number four. If I may make a suggestion, try shifting the words on that one over one spot to the right, so that "urban" is where "resource" currently is, "exploration" is where "urban" currently is, etc. It just makes it a bit easier to read from left to right.

Fair enough - depends if we’re looking for ease of use or maximizing return for the forum. Whatever’s more important.

Thanks Aran! Theoretically, it’s a round sticker - you could put it whichever way you feel! But yeah you’re right - just like #1 (my fav, the texture is cool and I like the intertwined TBW because I don’t understand it in the slightest), reading from L-R makes more sense than top-down. The only thing that might lock the orientation of these is putting “City waterworks” or something beneath them, so if someone sees a sticker they don’t just wonder why there’s a manhole, they just associate it with an “acme waterworks” (allusion to everything Acme in bugs bunny cartoons) rather than paying too much attention. So it would play kind of like the UER Yacht Club. Yacht club says yacht club but you don’t know it says UER unless you look closer. Thoughts?
