Hey guys, I just did a search on youtube for kicks and found on of my old videos of the mill in Seattle. Sorry about the pretentious "editing," I don't know what I was thinking with all the fadeouts but hey, I was 20 years old https://www.youtub...atch?v=4b_j-9pZK24
"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!" | |
I agree, some other transitions for variety might have been a good idea. When I was messing with super-8 (home video was still sci-fi at the time) I so wanted to do fades, but they were impossible with a razor blade film splicer. That aside, tho, the UE videos I've watched up to now were narrated and kinda boring. Music is much better; it's like I'm exploring the mill. I noticed that the lights were on. Also, I had a question about this shot:
Is that a sunken ship or something, or just a reflection on wet pavement?
