Since I'm newly unemployed and have nothing but time on my hands, I'm planning a trip the week of May 2nd to Magnolia, AR to see my daughter. Anyone in Southern Arkansas, Northern Louisiana or Texarkana that wants to hook up for some 'splorin let me know.

A few of us are planning an AR trip the last weekend of May. If you still have nothing but time on your hands, you should join us, or at least make a day of it! We plan on hitting up Hot Springs, Pine Bluff, and possibly Little Rock in between. 
EDIT: Let me know if you'd like some Texarkana spots - I've been three times in the last year!

The trip was called off ☹️ My daughter came down last weekend to say goodbye to her great grandmother who isn't looking good. As a result, she's drawn short straw on checking other students out of the dorm this week. As it turns out it kinda worked out for me because I got a couple of job interviews and honestly that's a bit more of a priority than exploring at this point.
I do plan on heading up that way at some point, maybe before I have to go back to work if/when I get a job. In the meantime it's armchair exploring and flaming UER assholes for me!

Hopefully you'll get some free time before starting back up at work again! If you do, a group of four or five of us are road tripping it to Hot Springs, LR, and finally, Pine Bluff for the long holiday weekend in a couple weeks. Please think about meeting up for some or all of it if you'd like to. Not to mention, I love putting faces to user names.
The invite is open, BTW, so if anyone is interested, Arkansas locals and road trippers alike, please send me a message or email!
