There is a ghost town just outside the Texas Hill Country named Pontotoc. The place has had a storied history and well worth taking a look at. While driving through town a few weeks ago I noticed to my horror the old schoolhouse that was the driving force for the towns growth back in the day had fallen down!. I stopped into the post office and learned that high winds had knocked the walls down. I have always loved this unique little town and it's ruins. Here are a couple of before and after pics. RIP old friend. 1.

it was nice of the wind to knock all the walls down in an inward direction making a nice little pile

Lol I thought the same thing and asked the post office lady about it. She said that after it happened a few of the townspeople got together and piled them up. They were scattered all over the place and didn't want "tourists" coming by and just picking them up from the field.
