Farm House - (Probably Never Seen) 36 Photos

I went for a drive last week and saw this place hidden in the trees.

This property belongs to one of the most wealthy and well known families in the area. If I'm correct, this was built in 1908 and the barn that will be in Part II was build in 1910.

When I arrived, there was a man reclaiming wood from the main house which was taking away from the already weakened structure. We agreed to stay out of each others way but he clued me in to a different location I could explore.

Thank you, Masakari.

It's probably the most interesting thing within 50 miles at least.

There is a place down the road from this location where teens and punks get drunk and party. I'm very surprised there's no vandalism too.

YotaMan I really like finding places like this. You can spend hours poking around these old homes and barns and you never know what you will run across. Amazing old radio and Baby carriage/stroller. Love pic 35. Its so intriguing. The weeds consuming that old truck, with barn in view is Awesome too.

Thank you very much. I spent so much time there and still missed a bunch. I'm going back today to finish off.

Number 35, I climbed on top of the grain silo (or whatever that is) in front of the barn. That was a fun shot!

These are amazing!

I think the last couple shots are my favorite. I love when nature reclaims what was once hers.

Thanks, Joelle I absolutely agree.

It's too bad you couldn't make it to meet up with TR and I at the jungle. We aught to figure something out soon Maybe a Washington meet and greet or something?

Many excellent closeups. Also Barn #1 with the old truck is stunning. I've had good luck with two old farms, looking forward to more.

Thank you!

I've had quite a bit of luck with barns. It's cool to see so many old vehicles, tools etc.

It'd be cool to see you post something new soon. (:

That's just awesome, great find! I love the exterior shot with ivy overtaking. Was it just normal ivy? It looks almost like kudzu it's so covered

edit; on second glance it appears to be blackberry or something, nevertheless it's cool looking
