Howdy folks, went to the Villanova Parade in Philly yesterday and after did some exploring at 2 locations. I didn't take my GoPro as I usually do, seeing as I rely on the wide angle lens to much, instead of working on the composition so much. Also, I was able to shoot in raw so I was able to practice editing in Lightroom way more then with a GoPro file. Hopefully, you all can help me improve my photography, whether it be the composition or the editing. Again I am brand new to lightroom and dslr photography. I think some of the colors may on the saturated side, but i'd like to know your opinion.
1.a. Relax and drink a Coke. 1.b. Truly an art form.
2.a. Philadelphia Skyline
2.b.
3. Abandoned train tunnel. First time inside one of these. 4.
5.
6. Back on the pier.
7.
Hopefully, you guys enjoyed this set and can give me some constructive criticism. One note about Graffiti Pier, some places I have explored, graffiti has taken away from the ruins. This location, the graffiti made the ruins. So much nice art covered every foot and made the pier truly unique. There were quite a few people around the area making to tags on the wall, so it was really fun to watch them make their art.

Whatever you're using to resize your photos is ruining the quality and turning diagonal lines into sawteeth. I really like 1b, nice shot. 6 and 7 are both crooked, leaning to the left.

You don't need to hide your face at the coal pier, bro. I go fishing there every summer. You can catch nice-sized channel-cats with chunks of hotdog. Local fishermen are ALWAYS there. The neighborhood teens swim in between the piers there during the hottest days of summer. Petty's Island is right in the middle of the river there and forces the river to take two channels. The fish stack up in the shipping lane. I love that spot!
"Are you happy now with all the choices you've made?" "Are there times in life when you know you should've stayed?" "Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay?" "Winners and losers... which one will you be today?" ***Social Distortion*** | |

The pictures are good, well excited. I'm sure others agree the editing is harsh. We always want our good picture to be better but sometimes we damage it through those efforts
