Damn. Is it a rash on your feet? Has pancreatitis been ruled out? Get aggressive with this. Could be a reaction to the meds... Make sure you don't get a secondary infection on your feet. Keep em elevated as much as possible and clean. See the doctor ASAP if any signs of infection develop, half a day can make the difference. Inspect them 3 or 4 times a day... Make sure you're getting enough vitamin C, lack of C will cause all kinds of vascular problems.

i'm thinking that the sugar thing might be because I have a tooth on its way out. Have a dentist appointment Monday to have the rotten cuss yanked. My nurse was telling me that when you have a bad tooth, your white blood count goes nuts (because of infection) and makes your blood sugar go bizarre. Hoping that is the case. Not really sure what the hell is going on. The other night, my bloodsugar was 448. In a weird way, I thought it was funny.

That level is a medical emergency, not funny. Never keep abscessed tooth in your mouth. You on antibiotics? Better knock that bitch down fast. I played with one that almost killed me.

Don't know what high blood sugar is like, but I passed out with blood count at 25. Was not a good feeling. Get the tooth yanked asap, that shit can kill you buddy...... I was reading this post from a few pages back. I haven't been around here too often........ I'm still laughing at Radical Ed's comment about sticking his cock in the mashed potatoes...LOL. A vivid image I don't think I'll ever shake...... Stay healthy, and clean of mind and spirit....... Or at least try. Love to you Sam.

I have a shitty attitude at times too about body parts that fail Ice the hell out of where they pulled that tooth... one problem solved

they pulled three (THREE!!!) teeth today and then tried to upsell me on a cleaning, some fillings, a denture or two... I looked at the hygienist and with the nicest I could must, "I have less than 5 years. We'll go with just the yanking part." She laughed. I went to an Aspen Dental in Plattsburgh NY. Honestly, a great experience. The doc yanked all three at once and only charged me for the one extraction. I ended up paying $69.90 out of pocket as my dental insurance (like everyone elses) sucks balls. So, sitting here with a not so sore jaw worrying my ass off about dry socket. I already violated two conditions of the release papers.. no carbonated drinks and no straws. So now, hopefully, my blood sugar will drop back into the saner levels.

well, kids, things have taken a turn for the weird today. My general got the results of my biopsy back and so far, nothing cancerous, BUT I did test positive for lupus. I had to google what the fuck lupus was! So, I see my general on Tuesday for my blood sugar issues and see another specialist soon (there was a name for it, but I've forgotten it). I know it sounds childish and shallow, but I am going to do it anyway... why the fuck is all this shit happening to me?

Ray Walton had lupus. May have been there for a while. It can vary quite a bit in severity and symptoms.

I had a friend who has lupus. It plays havoc with her life. I don't envy you.

I be pissed too. It may never bother you. It may be reasonable for some of your issues; good the found it as it may lead to more effective treatment. When you had that initial bout with pneumonia might have been what triggered it.

what got me into the doctor was these rashes on my legs and feet that don't ever seem to heal or go way. And they itch nonstop and then sometimes start to go away. So the doctor did a bunch of blood work and then did a biopsy on it. It's not celiac disease, nor is it anything fungal. It was a positive on one of the tests during the biopsy that she is sending me to a rheumatologist for a follow up.

Check all your meds... Lupus can be triggered by certain types of anti-seizure medications, blood pressure medications and antibiotics. People who have drug-induced lupus usually see their symptoms go away when they stop taking the medication. http://www.mayocli...auses/con-20019676

I don't take any of those meds. and it was happening before I took any of the medications I am on now. It was just one of those things that I never bothered with. hoping that the blood work was maybe off, or a mistake.

Hey Sam, Late to the party, as usual. How am I just now seeing all of this? Didn't know all of this was going on, dude! I hope things are getting better for you, I'll keep you in my prayers! Hope you got the tooth taken care of, too!
I love Christmas on UER. |

nope, there's no getting better from this one. They gave me less than five years before the heart finally says done. On top of that, there a ton of complications with it that are actually getting worse. Seeing a specialist tomorrow on the advice of my primary doctor who is worried that I have lupus due to a blood test and biopsy I had earlier. Folks here were incredibly generous when I had my gofund me thing. It really helped me get this far financially and I cannot thank everyone enough. Unfortunately, I had to apply for social security disability and as I've written before, I am having a hard time with that shit for personal reasons. anyways, still here for a bit longer.

I'm in IT but work with a lot of doctors. You are mainly at risk of a dry socket, I'm told, if you smoke...
